  • Built in 1905, this Edwardian Second Empire mansard roofed home was built by the O’Neill Conroy family and boasts original features! In 1946, it was willed by Judge Conroy to the Presentation Sisters of NL, where it became a Convent. We purchased the building from the Sisters in 2019; renovated, restored and renewed to become the home of the Georgestown Inn & The Edwardwarian Tearoom.

  • Elwood is the resident cat, and doesn’t like to share his space! So, at this time, we do not host pets, however service animals are always welcome!

  • Our Cancellation Policy: Fully refundable payment is required upon booking for the first night's stay, by phone and by credit card only. Any remaining balance is due upon check out. 21 days’ notice for cancellation no additional charges less than 21 days the full amount of the booking will be charged on the credit card provided.

  • The Edwardian Tea Room at the Georgestown Inn is open for Christmas; Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter & Mother’s Day! Please check the website to confirm dates. Afternoon High Tea also available for special occasions such as Bridal/Baby showers, or special events such as corporate meetings.
